Vanuit de danswereld is 25 jaar geleden haar interesse ontstaan in het schilderen.
Gepassioneerd door de natuur vertaalt zij vorm en beweging in geabstraheerde beelden waarbij de zee een hoofdrol speelt.
In 1999 beëindigde zij na 25 jaar haar carrière als eigenaresse van Balletschool Margot Bierens in den Bosch.
Zij volgde de kunstacademie te Knokke (België) bij Wim Nival.
Daarna deed zij 2 jaar specialisatie aan de stedelijke kunstacademie te Brugge
bij Yves Beaumont.

Her interest in painting started 25 years ago, while she was heavily envolved in the danceworld.
Passionate about nature, she translates form and movement into abstracted images in which the sea plays a leading role.
In 1999 she finished her career after 25 years as the owner of Balletschool Margot Bierens in den Bosch.
She attended the art academy in Knokke (Belgium) with Wim Nival.
Over the next two years she specialized at the art academy in Bruges
with Yves Beaumont.
